Spoonbill Watering Hole - Lafayette

The food is good here. Prices are reasonable. The Bbq shrimp was delicious. The butter salad was really good. The bibimbap and meerrot tuna packages were also good, but everyone liked my commander in beefburger better than their meals. We were happy with their dog friendly outdoor terrace that many fans had to get rid of the heat. Great service.

The Spoonbill Watering Hole is located in an old Conoco petrol station and is a diamond in the grob. A James Beard Foundation of 2020 awards nominee, that was simply the best restaurant I've eaten for a long time. We started with some cocktails and loaded pommes and knew we were special for something. The woman had the commander in the beef burger she claimed the best burger she ever had. I had the Bibimbap. The red dragon sauce is absolutely delicious, it radiates the exact amount of Gustatory Rhinitis needed for this dish. By the way, the old fashion was perfect, and I should know I had 3 of them! Congratulations to the boss/owner in a very special place in a very unique environment. We'll be back when we visit our son in college.

Great location with an incredible staff. Even though it was very hot out, I felt very relaxed and comfortable at this spot. Is ample shading available on the outside porch and, while Limited, the seating indoors was actually lovely. The bartender came up with a drink on the spot using my desired flavors for the day, and did quite well. Would definitely go back again. I lived in Hawaii for quite some time and the Poke was amazing!

This hands down our favorite place in Lafayette and beyond! Everything is great, the food (burgers, best wings, chicken sandwich, oysters bbq shrimp, everything , drinks (best old fashioned! and best crew that enjoy what they do!!

Unique menu with great flavors! The atmosphere is unique – cannot put my finger on it, but the decoration and energy feel different than many other places I was. Service was pretty good, everything was clean, and the guests seemed happy. Recommend the loaded Fritten appetizer with avocado cream sauce! Bibimpap was also delicious!
