Bidra med feedbackIt's a great place to eat breakfast either Mexican or American style. Natalie, our waitress is very customer oriented.
Absolutely love this restaurant. My dad and I go out of our way to eat here and it never disappoints. The huevos rancheros is my absolute favorite. Candace is the best!!
I dined here for the first time and chose to try the breakfast menu, which did not disappoint. There are plenty of great options, but the cook could use some improvement, particularly with the potatoes and fried eggs. The overall presentation was quite good. I’ll definitely return to see if lunch is an upgrade.
One of my favorite breakfast places and a real hidden gem in Lafayette. We visit a few times a week; the food is fantastic and the service is spot on.
Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly employee. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating but no bar or counter area. I inquired about placing a to-go order, and the employee informed me that a waiter would assist me shortly. There were a couple of small benches near the front door that could seat about three people, so someone might have to wait for a spot. I took a seat and browsed the menu, pleasantly surprised to discover such a charming little breakfast spot nearby that I had never known about. The menu is quite extensive, featuring a wide selection of breakfast items, and they serve until 2 p.m., so there’s no rush for breakfast. I decided to order three breakfast burritos. It took about 20 minutes from the moment I arrived until I was back in my car with the food. Initially, I thought that was a bit long for breakfast burritos, but when I arrived home and opened the boxes, I was stunned—these burritos were enormous! They didn’t even fit on my dinner plates. One burrito could easily feed two people, and I barely made a dent in mine. My husband and son finished off theirs. These burritos are absolutely amazing! Every ingredient was given careful attention and would have been delicious on its own. Everything was piping hot and fresh. The flour tortilla might be the best I’ve ever had. The thick potato chunks were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, while the freshly prepared meat inside was just the right amount. The eggs were fluffy and substantial. I didn’t see any options to customize the burritos, and now I understand why—everything came together perfectly. Despite the absence of heat options, all three of us were satisfied. The burritos have a nice kick to them, which my husband loved, as he grew up eating green chili. I’m not a fan of heat, but I enjoyed it too, even with that little spiciness. One thing I always evaluate in burritos is the distribution of ingredients, as nobody wants to take a bite and only taste one thing. These were excellently mixed, ensuring every bite had a bit of everything. I know I’m raving, but these breakfast burritos are certainly worth the hype. My first impression was a resounding wow, and the only question on my mind was whether they’d be open tomorrow!
