Nine Irish Brothers Lafayette

Had dinner on Sunday evening at 9 Irish brothers. Our group had prime rib, salmon, pepper steak, and Irish Stew. We had the chips and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Overall a good experience. The menu definitely has an Irish bent to it. The chips were very good. So I would suggest ordering them. They need to step up their game on the shrimp cocktail, or take it off the menu, Shrimp were too small, and did not really have any taste. Cocktail sauce was a bit disappointing. The prime rib was excellent. The salmon was quite good, it was well seasoned, and the portion was fairly generous, but it was a bit on the over side. Their mashed potatoes are very very good. The pepper steak was ok, but nothing to rave over. Unfortunately the stew was underwhelming, it lacked meat and potatoes, Service was very attentive, and the atmosphere was very Irish. I did not like the fact that many of the seats were stools, not so great for those who want back support. This place could easily be a 5 for me if they stepped up their game just a bit. They have a lot going for them, but they need to put in some more effort. i don't think you would be disappointed with 9 Irish Brothers Lafayette. I would not hesitate to go back, but as I said they need to step it up a bit. Maybe a tenth brother would help.

Really solid take on a traditional Irish bar. From the menu to the decor, this place checks all the boxes.

First time in Lafayette and needed a yummy place yo grab some food. Quick search said this place was worth checking out. We placed an order, I went to pickup our food and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a cool bar/restaurant. Great vibe/atmosphere, everyone I encountered was friendly, the order was ready when I arrived and they provided everything needed for our meal. My son and I enjoyed our food, and if we ever come back into town I’d gladly dive in.

Good food, good service, I know it's part of the theme and all but the music got a little annoying.

Kyle was great. He accommodated our whole group of 25 everyone's food order was perfect, orders came out quick and the food was great.
