This place takes you to a whole time period! The food is always on point! Where else will you get a complimentary bowl of gumbo? And if you want another usually it 's on the house! Hands down it 's my Sunday go-to spot for countless years! I 've brought almost 100 people there and counting!...

Food to salty tasting. Jambalaya and Gumbo. Ramp too far away fromm restaurant for people with walkers. Bread pudding was dry

The size portion was of a kids meal for the single fried shrimp plate. The french fries were good but the shrimps on both my husband's and I plates were fried too long.

Great lunch special! Started with delicious gumbo, then some Awesome chili, cornbread, sweet corn. Topped it off with exceptional bread pudding!!
