Day of shrimp. Yeah, better than old Tyrus! Every time I want a Po boy, I remember this place! The sandwiches are amazing! Everyone goes to the old tyme because it's college. Leave her! You don't know what they miss! and the hot sausage sandwich is so good! I really miss this place! Here!
I have eaten here several times and have been pleased everytime. The amount of food you get for the money is amazing. This is truly a gem!
Oh gosh, their po-boys is soo good! the bead is soft! Unlike other places where they baked the bread for so long, and it hardens up!
Super friendly waitress (checked on us often and even made conversation), comfortable pay-at-the-counter atmosphere, though quirky October Christmas decorations - probably still from last year. We have a lot of food for a table of 4 for super cheap. We have two burgers, half a shrimp poboy, and half a muffalata, but started with some pages: large (8) mozzarella sticks, a large fried pimple, a large frit, and a small red beans and rice. We had a ton of leftovers. Two of us couldn't finish our sandwiches and the other two felt too full because they did. The dough they use for fried shrimps and fried cucumbers is the best thing: crispy, well salted, keeps to the food really good without falling off (corresponds to me a little from Popeye's chicken batter). This will be the best fried pickles you ever had! The fried mozzarella (although I'm homemade doubts) and the mozzarella on the muffalata was good quality cheese, super oozy and ingenious. Well seasoned burgers and wrinkles (Tony's I think). Delicious tea. Just my new favorite restaurant. I can't wait to try more of the menu.
