Strandgaarden - Laesoe

Customer service is poor... Canceled our 1year anniversary dinner the night before we were supposed to go.. We booked a week in advance and the day before the event, they sent a text saying “sorry, we have to cancel”, without explanation... When we asked why, they apparently made a mistake, they were closed that evening.. so instead of apologizing and trying to find a solution, they asked with a tone: “Have you never made a mistake?” So even though we heard good things about the place, their attitude was **** poor..

I only ate at the restaurant and it was very cozy with nice staff and tasty gourmet menu.

Stayed here a week this summer: great location on the island, and a beautiful, historical building. We stayed in one of the small rooms in the main building, and it was as expected small and simple, but with beautiful surroundings. We didn't spend much time in the room the garden, the beach and the island itself were better options. Beds were OK, and facilites as well. The building is almost 300 years old, so we banged our heads a couple of times, and there were some spiders. The breakfast was amazing already miss it.. We also ate at the restaurant twice great food and presentation both times. One of the best places to eat on the island.

Thanks Ole and Co for an unforgettable gourmet evening in cosy surroundings on Fridays. It was a culinary experience, the food in the special class and the wine menu perfectly adapted to the individual dishes. The beach is a must when you are on Læsø.

Great place. Complete peace even about busy. Good service and nice food. A hint to Læsø as such: get some marked routes to the bike and go, so everyone can get out and enjoy your amazing varied nature. It is what the island, among other things, must live in the long term.
