Bidra med feedbackStopped here for breakfast and it was fabulous. Staff were super friendly, food was delicious with lots of choice and the ambience was really authentic. Great collection of rock memorabilia and can definitely recommend the pancakes – super light and fluffy so tasty, I managed to squeeze them in, after an Eggs Florentine!
Enjoyed two great breakfasts here. We were lucky to get a table both mornings in the diner portion rather than the other room. Service was quick and the food was very good. We had Benedict’s and omelets and pancakes another day. Food was hot and very generously portioned. Would recommend.
Although the Union Diner was a little difficult for us to find, once we did we returned more than once A typical diner with a counter, booths, and dining room the food is fantastic. Friday's is a all you can eat haddock dinner or prime rib We enjoyed the prime rib which was very tender; the next time we will order the haddock. Difficult choice!
I have to admit that I am a regular here for lunch. It is a local, small place, open Wednesday through Sunday with a large menu, good prices, fast service and good, hearty food. I eat lunch here about two times per week and usually have a chicken salad sandwich, chowder and french fries. Pretty basic grub. The fries are the crinkle cut type which I love, and the chowder is homemade. They usually have two or three selections of soups but I stick to my regular stuff. Always good, always fast and always friendly. Part of the place is an old dining car with worn marble countertop and you get a seat quickly and get served very quickly. The breakfasts are good, standard diner fare. You can't go wrong eating here. Rose, the owner, is usually present and watches what is going on.
We had breakfast here and it seemed very popular so we took a chance. We both ordered different breakfast choices and were both very satisfied. The staff was very friendly as well. Quaint hometown diner.
