Bidra med feedbackThe food is fantastic and perfect for takeout. The pupusas are made fresh to order and the beans and rice are exceptional. The hot sauce has a slightly bitter taste, so I recommend not using too much of it.
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this restaurant. I have been there a few times and each time I encountered the same poor quality of service. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, so it was not a language barrier causing the rudeness. The service was rude from the moment I placed my order. When I asked for my burrito to be cut in half after I had already paid for it, the staff rolled their eyes at me. The same reaction was given when I requested a few slices of lime. It was clear that there was a lack of understanding and respect for the customer.
I came here to purchase Pupusas. The quality can be inconsistent. Today, the Pupusas were burned and soggy. I hope they bring back the original lady who used to make them. It's not worth the expensive gas to travel all the way to Lakewood for stale food.
Nice little place serving El Salvador's food. This is my second time here, and my favorite dish is the Pupusas, which is a small, round flatbread filled with cheese, beans or meat on a hot grid. Very delicious!
Doesn't look like much from the outside and it's very simple on the inside but was one of the most delicious meals I've had in the area. Food does take some time to get to your table and the costs are a little higher than related restaurants but it's worth your patience and the cost. I ordered Pollo con Crema and their take on it was better than I've ever had. Even the black beans served with it were elevated and delicious. Will definitely go back to explore their menu more.
