Le Comptoir Route 33 - Lacanau

Incredibly poor quality. Salmon tartare no taste whatsoever, entrecôte really bad. Even the fries are horrible. Avoid at any cost.

Been here a few times, for steaks. This time we ordered one medium entrecôte and 2 bavette d’aloyau (one well done, one rare). Each done to perfection and really tasty. Have to agree their chips are are a bit thin and soggy but well presented in little wire baskets. I like the selection in their café gourmand too, try it for dessert. Le Comptoir is friendly, cosy in cooler weather, reasonably priced and one of our favourite spots in town.

This place must have a new butcher since the 2016 reviews. The entocote was as thin as the soles of my boots and as tough. Chips must have been fried four times they were so dark. Salad garnish had been plated at least an hour before.! Sauce was ok. Mouse au Chocolat was good, service was freindly, will not be back

Great service in French or English, food was very good and the atmosphere was very friendly. Been there in Spring Summer, very consistent standard. Worth a visit.

Very good place to taste meat Bel place! Some waitresses however leave to be desired at the service level! But in all good!
