Don’t you just love it when your source of comfort just conveniently moves closer to you? It’s like what Uber did to transportation or What Tinder did to daring or any food delivery app to food for that matter. Bistro Ibarra opening its doors at Vista Mall Taguig is unlike any app it’s like inventing a teleportation device that takes you straight to Tagaytay. You can now enjoy a bite of their Uber crispy pata (the crunch can be heard tables away) or the melt in your mouth chewy goodness of their Kare Kare without ever getting on an expressway. PS you should try their Tortang Talong, the smoky and savory goodness of the vegetable omelette will knock your socks off.
Bistro Ibarra serves excellent Filipino dishes in a comfortable environment at Vista Mall. We were able to try many dishes. The standouts for me were Lumpiang Habhab, Ukoy, Classic Beef Kare Kare, Bulalo, Pochero and Pinakbet with Boneless Bangus. The dishes are large and can be shared. They have attractively priced family bundles too for 5 pax and 10 pax! Each dish is prepared well with quality ingredients and authentic taste.
From the country’s preferred catering services, IBARRA’s, this filipino-spanish inspired food spread is brought to you by their resto concept called bistro ibarra. hinged at the main mall of the vista mall in taguig city, this cozy diner whips up palatial comfort pinoy edibles that are backed up by 15 years of food service experience. more on my @zomato review in a few ‘coz it’s hard to down all 17 dishes in one sitting. yet imma leave you w/ how freakin’ly flavorous their LECHEESE FLAN is! i dont wanna cuss but w/o it, i wouldn’t be able to express how gastronomically good it friggin’ was!! imagine, creamy dreamy flan topped w/ whipped cream cheese?! IMAGINEEE!!
We went to have dinner here to check it out. We had the pinakbet with boneless bangus, spicy chicken adobo, plain rice, and cucumber slush. Both of the dish we ordered tasted great, they were seasoned just fine, not salty or bland, it's up to you if you want to use condiments to suit your taste, the plain rice was good as well. The cucumber slush was refreshing. The ambience was pleasant, and the overall look of the place was kind of fancy, but not too much that you would be intimated to come in. The staff were also attentive to our needs like refilling our water, and bussing our table, and it also didn't take long to get our bill. Overall a good dining experience, meaning we would probably come back to try other dishes. Thank you.
