Bidra med feedbackOften go here for my meats and fish. It is slightly more expensive than the supermarkets but good quality.
Not the slightest hint of anything touristy about this market and the better for it. A wander through is a must if only to see the extensive range of fish, meat and vegtables on offer. Not to mention cheese, wine etc, etc.
Here you can fin very good food to prepare at home. Try their lamb I think it HERE is better even than fresh spanish fish.
Very good supermarket. Wonderful fish counter. Had everything we thought we wanted and more. Good value for money as well
A bit of a process. You need to get there by about noon early for lunch in Spain, but well worth the effort. Talk to the waiter and the guy in charge of the kitchen. Then go to the food market which is the same building, and buy your food.Give it to the waiter, then 20 to 30 minutes later it begins to appear at your table, deliciously grilled. There are some oily fish and mussels which they will not grill for you. We had lamb chops, asparagus and the most mouthwatering tunafish steaks imaginable. Fresh food straight from the market stalls on to your plate. They close at 2 p.m. One of the best lunches that I have ever eaten.
