Le Petit Nice Sud - La Teste-de-Buch

Excellent food and really great staff. We loved every course. It's out of the way, but we're gonna be worth the ride. Fabulous location

Since 2016 we have at the Petit Nice restaurant at least one meal per year. Since then the service and the food went back, but yesterday was the « cherry on the cake ». We have cheese and sausages appetizer and we have half of it as... it wasn't so good, but that's okay, you can't satisfy everyone's taste and we understand it. What we don't understand was the terrible service we had. There were at least 6 waiters around 18 years old, without the feeling of customer service or recognition of being a waitress. We had waited for 30 minutes after a very rude girl removed our plates and was asked to bring us coffee, we decided to pay and leave. Why? Because the six young women were chatting and laughing at the bar, but they don't have the trouble to bring the espresso we had ordered. Normally I don't want to write a negative review, but if the boss asked us if we pay «, how was everything, etc » is the normal question of the restaurant's boss, we would have explained this and not write all this on travel advisor! Some people really need to work on their Emhaty to satisfy their customers! We do not recommend this place!!!!

Low quality food. We took and hamburgers and a court of Moule, the taste was terrible. A total of 40euros.

We couldn't eat there because a 20-year-old dyed waiter refused to sit. A nice waiter brought us to our table, but then this other waiter came to us and said they couldn't do it because they only took reservations...if half of the tables were empty and without a "reserved" sign. He was clearly in a bad mood and didn't feel like additional work... not only he sent us home, but he did it in an rude way: I hope the owner boss reads that to get the kind of worker he hired.

New owners have completely renovated this beautiful spot by the beach. We were pleased to discover a new menu including their family recipes. All dishes are homemade from locally sourced products. It is a family run business. They make you feel at home as soon...as you arrive. Children are welcome. This is a place to relax, enjoy a meal, snack or just a drink or two with friends. Thank you Olivier and Karenne. We'll be back!
