L'echaillon - La Salle-les-Alpes

Worst manners ever turned up for lunch, told it would be a wait to get a table, nice day so prepared to wait a hour for some lunch, sat in the garden area, too much trouble to let us have drinks, then decided after we waited 30 mins that we could not eat and basically told us that he was too busy to offer us anything. I have been going here for the last 6 years, summer and winter never again find some where else Fawlty Towers would be 4 Rude rude rude

We have been coming to l’eshaillon for years in both winter and summer, we have always enjoyed the food. After hiking for some time to have lunch at l’eshaillon today we were told to wait one hour for food very rudely by a man at front of house, we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and wait despite the rude man- we waited for 15 minutes outside, we went back in to ask if we could order some drinks whilst we were waiting and were rudely turned away again as it appeared to be too much effort, we were told to go back in 10 minutes when he may not be so busy. We did exactly that, however once he had taken our drinks order, he told us very rudely that we would not be getting any food. Awful service, will not be returning any time soon!!

Really a nice place for lunch and after lunch. The staff is excellent, Vincent the owner is a very good guy and know how to take care of his guest. @staff: Hi from Belgium and see you soon....

Nothing to say, whether reception, service or dishes, everything is excellent. The map is perfect. Well done.

Good restaurant. The terrace is very pleasant with a beautiful view. The service is correct. Thanks to the boss who found us a place in the morning for noon! Accessible price
