Whataburger - La Porte

Burgers were properly prepared. The staff was very friendly. Just the problem was waiting. I was in a 5 car line on the driver, it was 45 minutes from the time I came in the line until I got my food.

The chicken finger basket and fries were perfect, the Diet Coke was large, cold, and wet. Air conditioning was nice and people were friendly. Excellent!

My husband and I had walked across from our hotel and it was about 9:15. The inside closes at 10 and the drive thru is 24 hours. So when we walked up and pulled the door it was locked. We didn 't drive and we were starving. When we turned around to walk away we are greeted by the manager saying, I 'm fixin to go up in there and chew all their butts out! It is NOT 10 o 'clock and those doors are supposed to be open! We were so excited that the manager actually cared enough to make them reopen. Thanks Whataburger! Lol

This restaurant is fantastic! It can get pretty busy, so I do feel for the short staff they have. I ordered the Patty Melt meal, and the guy who took my order, Jose, was incredibly kind! He made sure my food was ready on time, even with the place being packed. My sister ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and when I mentioned it was fresh, he informed us it would take about seven minutes. That wait was absolutely worth it because the chicken was hot and juicy! Overall, the experience was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the food was AMAZING! I would rate it a perfect 10/10.

This is a fantastic spot to grab a warm meal on your way home from work. They do an excellent job of keeping wait times low, even late at night when things can get busy. The parking lot is well-lit and easily accessible from the highway, making it convenient to find. Don't forget to try the spicy ketchup—it's a must!
