Rita's Italian Ice - La Plata

Was excited to try this place but experienced discrimination from a young girl named ?Cathy? (not sure if she gave me a real name) she was very rude about changing my order. I paid for a topping I didn?t like and instead of simply accommodating, she gave me dirty looks and said it?s their policy in a very condescending tone. Any place I?ve ever been, I was able to change what I ordered. It was very bad customer service and mediocre ice cream.

Not a bad place just getting to and leaving is a Hassel small parking lot one entrance and exit

I love banana flavored Laffy Taffy; it is my one weakness other than dark chocolate. Rita's banana custard tastes exactly like it, and the mouth feel is incredible. It far outshines the texture of ice cream. Their crew is very helpful and kind, too. I forgot to get the girl's name today (7/10) sadly, but she helped me with my app, so I could get credit for today's purchase even though she had to go out of her way to help me as my phone was being a beast. Thank you!

Good customer service, I recomend the cotton candy Gelato and chocolate ice cream on top. haha

Love this place, so does my son. They have cornhole on the lawn for while you wait. Parking can be tight at popular times, but worth it for the frozen treats.
