Le Hibou - La Pêche

Despite the restaurant being very crowded, we were pleasantly surprised that the wait wasn't long even with a line. We were seated near the stage where there was live music that evening. As a vegetarian, I had plenty of options and decided on the delicious and perfectly portioned panang curry. There was still room for dessert afterwards. My husband enjoyed a beautifully presented chicken and lentil salad, which he described as excellent. The decaf coffee was the best I've had and the service was exceptional, considering how busy they were. The staff were all polite and efficient. The live music added to the great atmosphere. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in Wakefield again.

We had a delicious dinner here. The service was excellent. We had the poutine, salad and fish and chips. Never waited more than a couple of minutes for drinks. We laughed because our bill said our server was Gladis Knight. Apparently if you come during the day it says Doris Day.

Delicious food, good choice (not many, but different types), nice service, and a pretty good view of the lake. Recommended!

We went here after skating in lac de loup. A quirky place with amazing views of the lake. Perfect for lunch after skiing or skating in Gatineau park. I had the mushroom soup which was fabulous, and my parents had fish and chips, and the burger, and we shared nachos. The food was good overall, the fries were all the end bits which were small, but great flavour on the burger. A bit pricey but average for the area. It was my birthday, so there was a candle in my cheesecake, but it wasn’t on the house, like some places, it was great though. It will be a good place to try again on the patio this summer.

This is a regular spot for my husband and I. The staff are lovely and the food is absolutely delicious! You cannot go wrong no matter what you order it's all incredible!
