Botanica Coffee House - La Paz

They had a lot of vegan options! , I’m vegan and my boyfriend is vegetarian, and we both really liked the place: The vegan egg bruschetta was the best!

We had some poor vegan food in La Paz but this place was was the total opposite. The decor and overall atmosphere of the cafe was so welcoming. The staff were kind and eager to explain each dish we had. Everyone seems to take pride in the cafe and food that they serve. We had the open pesto sandwich, bruschetta with scrambled tofu, banana muffin and lemon meringue slice. All the food was fresh and full of flavour. The raw lemon meringue slice was something we wouldn’t normally order that ended up being our favourite. We just wished we had more time in La Paz to sample all the desserts!

We had the Sandwich de Pesto Botánica which was quite good, but arranged in a way which made it hard to eat without all the content tipping over. The service was quite slow, but they were very service minded none the less. The tart dessert was also good. Everything is on the pricey end, though.
