Bidra med feedbackI went there a year ago and then I went back in the last month because my parents wanted to eat there, so I went with and I must say I regret it. I was surprised that they have the same menu, they did not. changed at all, I mean, after a year-old people looking for new things or the restaurant changes the dishes a little to keep it interesting, but they don't have it. the food was decent all in all, but we had to wait an hour to get even the salat, a full hour, and that would be understandable if the restaurant was full, but it wasn't, there were only two tables, our own and one with three people and that for me is unpredictable. then we had to wait an additional amount of 20 minutes to get our pizza.
Toscano serves pizza, pasta and salads. they use good quality ingredients and the salads were the favorites of our group of four. Both the spinatsalate and the home salad of organic greens were quite tasteful and had some creative ingredients such as cut strawberries,...candied hazelnuts and blue cheese. the thin crust pizzanins we ordered (toscano and Mediterranean) lack of taste and both could have used a bit more sose at the least. as another person noticed, the pizzas are not very substantial, even by thin crust standards. if desired, they can sit on the bar tequila next door (part building) and place their food order with toscanos waitress. put them back, relax and enjoy their drinks, because eating is not in a hurry to get to them.
Good pizza not the best in the city! if you want pizza great go to rustico (higher end,) but very affordable! or fuego y lena (casual) they also have great pastas and burger! very affordable! music at some nights!
We ate here after we find on the moose to foot, and to foot to el-type to find it closed. it was an excellent sound! incredibly cheap, for our party of thirteen it came to 10 people, including drinks and tips. bring them cash as no visa...also there was a large courtyard, with a billard table, that was fun for the kids when we waited for our pizzas. one down, a bit slow, but the pool table helped. we all loved our pizzas, and the few who got pasted loved them also. great for families.
It was good, but seriously, $18 (plus tip) for a thin crust pizza that didn't fill up the two of us! Two toppings, took forever to get there, and again, EIGHTEEN BUCKS??? In La Paz?? Could have eaten at Stella's on the beach for the...same price, but there was good music in the bar next door, Tequila's, where the drinks were about 100 pesos each, right now, about $8-rip off!
