Palapa Azul - La Paz

We enjoyed some Pacifico beers and good fajitas with Cameron (shrimp) and beef right at the waters edge! Water was perfect and very little waves on a great locals hangout beach! Definitely worth the trip after Balandras beach, and It’s only a 2 minute drive.

This USED to be our go to when hitting a beach in La Paz. Best **** mary we've ever had. The guac and frijoles are great and beer is bien muerto! Service has always been great too. THIS IS THE LAST TIME WE EVER SPEND...ANY MONEY THERE!!!!! After 8 years, the new manager told us we had to pay chair rentals even if we ordered food and drink. We have NEVER had to do this prior. He said it was their new rule this year. We were a group of 8 and ordered $1200mxp in food and were still charged $800mxp to use the lounge chairs. Total TOURIST TAX....STAY AWAY!!!!

Treat yourself to outdoor eating on Tecolote beach .. food always fresh with very good Margaritas .Staff very friendly and prices are mid range.

We had an excellent lunch here. The service was very friendly, the margaritas were freshly squeezed and the guacamole freshly mashed. The seafood was all perfectly done. And, contrary to what some have said, the prices seemed very reasonable. This is not a gourmet destination... it is just quality food at a beautiful location.

We visited the first day we were there and had drinks outside, everything was good. we were the next night back to dinner. big mistake! my garnelen fajita was really inconspicuous, the addition on were rough, and because I did not like alcohol, a bottle of water was 170 pesos versus hubby bier on 50 pesos. and not even import water. huge torn, eating was soggy and bad, service bad too. Skip!
