WOW! We stood in Langhe for a little over one week. This was our first time visiting Giovanni Cogno, or tasting any of their delicious sweets, and we are so happy that we stopped by to visit and purchase some of their products. As we were walking toward the building we could already smell the incredible baked goods, chocolate, and the world famous Piemonte IGP Hazlenuts being roasted. The staff were incredibly friendly and allowed us to taste many of their delicious homemade confections as well as see their laboratory where everything is made. Our favorite was probably the nocciole meringues or the chocolates which are filled with the various Grappas of Langhe or Barolo, we purchased an assorted pack to try them all. We regret not buying more to bring back home with us, but now we have an excuse to come back and visit even sooner. :

The athmosphere is a fake traditional imitation of Piedmont taste. No doubt they incarnate the motto Piedmont people, fake and gentle . Avoid not to reward a cliché spoiling tourist business policy
