Restaurante La Rosa Del Viento

We stumbled over this beautiful restaurant. Excellent location with sea view and sunset from the restaurant. First of all, we had no high expectations of the food we could start with. However, we had not expected such low food quality. The Pasta-Bolognese was pasta with diluted ketchup. A stay dog had the pleasure of our second dish: chicken in mushroom sauce. My recommendation has a beer and watch the sunset and drop the food.

Considering how hard it is to find food in Providencia as a vegan journey with a vegetarian La Rosa del Viento and excellent option. Vegan: Pesto Pasta, amazing al dente and the sauce was very delicious. The vegetables were also very nice. Patacones (Platine) were also very delicious! The only reason I don't rate this restaurant with 5 is because we had to wait more than 30 minutes for our food. Otherwise, for what the island has to offer when you are a vegan, this is a 5-star option.

I had lunch and chose the menu del Dia. It was fish soup and then fried fish with salad and rice. I paid 8 usd and it was okay, it's basic. Sitting is beautiful next to the sea (not on the beach) and in the shade with a cool breeze. Friendly staff. You can drink lemonades as much as you want in the menu.

It was hot as they need fans for their outdoor tables. The food was good and affordable.
