Bidra med feedbackWe ate three times at their El Bahio Centro Historico location on Ignacio Allende, not far from the MIDE Museum. The food was absolutely to die for. Our sever was Genesis, she was the nicest and most friendly waitress ever . She explained every dish in detail. The prices are low in comparison to the nearby Cafe Tacuba or El Cardenal (whihc also has several locations). The place itself is full of the highest quality folk art. Ask to be seated upstairs.
We had an amazing gourmet breakfast here, recommended by our AirBnB host in Juarez as in walking distance. Expensive by Mexican standards but creative, delicious food and terrific hot chocolate combined with excellent service. The meal sufficed until dinner! Highly recommended.
One of those places located inside a mall where you expect a quick overpriced bite. But isn’t any of that, great service very attentive and quick. Its a comfortable restaurant featuring traditional Mexican recipes. Everything from the agua fresca to a tortilla its full of flavor, I had the fortune to try the Chiles em Nogada because of the season and its a phenomenal dish. I actually tried again in couple other places and nothing as good.
We went to el Bahio since it was walking distance to our hotel and was recommended by the concierge at the hotel. We were craving Mexican food (for obvious reasons) and we're looking forward to our meal. The restaurant is lovely. It is open and airy yet cozy. The service was okay, it ranged from over bearing to sporadic. This is the way of a Mexican restaurant so no real complaints. The restaurant has a unique local beer menu. It's nice to see beer outside of Corona, Pacifico and Tecate. I ordered the huarache which is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. It was fine, the meat was fatty and had a bone in it even though it was cut very thin. It came with a large helping of guacamole which was the highlight. We also ordered two Barbacoa tacos which were simple but tasty. I would recommend if you are just getting used to Mexican food since this place is authentic and accessible. If you are a pro with Mexico and its cuisine I would recommend elsewhere.
Excellent food service drinks. Everything in the menu has grate taste and quality. Located at first floor of reforma 222 A full service mall. Nice to walk after A good meal. From appetizer quest fundido or grill optupus are excelent selections. A cold beer is always welcome!
