Food: 4 stars Only reason is a 4 star is because we're not allowed to take the food that's leftover, food is delicious but only downside is that you're not allowed to take the extra food you paid for.Communication: 2 star It was great at the beginning, my text, calls, emails would get answered but as we got closer to my event date the communication became less, which became stressful for me. I'm just glad my wedding coordinator got involved, with her they would answer calls or text fairly quick. I just feel they might need some extra help for things to run a bit smoother. They were always nice, never were they rude once you got a hold of them. Customer service: 5 star customer service was good once you got a hold of them, they were helpful and helped with advise of what might look good and not. Just make sure you read your contract well and ask questions don't assume a service is part of your package when it's not for example cake cutting. Make sure all your vendors are licensed and have insurance, they do require that from them. Overall the R banquet is a beautiful venue but they need to work on communicating with their clients better.

We used R Banquet for catering our Sangeet. They were extremely frustrating to work with, even through our wedding planner who had worked with them before. Weddings are so stressful to plan as it is without worrying about things like proper paperwork for the venue or payment issues. However, the food was absolutely delicious and all our guests loved it. So it worked out? But I would not repeat this experience again, better to find a caterer who is more professional and reliable. There are others with great food too.
We had a wedding ceremony at this place. The minute all our guests got in the building, the service manager was rude and yelling not to step on the dance floor because it was wet they just mopped a minute ago, even we had reserved months before doing a party. You should have mopped the floor in the morning instead of the time when party starts. The problem wasn 't just that, it continues as party continues. Their service was terrible. We had over 400 people for this event. Every table was over 25 people sitting. They would bring only two pitcher of soda per table. The soda pitcher would finish after 4 or 5 people getting it. When we were asking the service manager to bring more drinks, she would say we are running like machines to serve every table to bring drinks. They were taking so long to get the pitchers filled with sodas. Towards the last hour of the event, there were no towel paper in men 's bathroom and I didn 't have time to tell the service manager about to put some more towels. Our party was until 1:00am the manager told the musicians to cut out the music around 12:30 and leave so they did, by the time people were trying to leave the place the service manager turned off all the lights inside the banquet so people could leave faster. And she would yell at everyone to leave faster in the parking lot. She has 0 percent of customer service how to treat everyone with respect and be nice when you are doing this job.
