La Forchetta - La Fortuna

If you are looking for great Italian cuisine with amazing service, this is the place to be in La Fortuna. The pizzas are made fresh in a pizza oven and taste very nice! The gnocchi we ate was delicious!

Excellent dinner! Recommend this great little jewel. We had to start Focaccia and a charcuterie board. Next was Vongole Pasta, Osso Buco ravioli and a cheese pizza. Ends with panna cotta and a chocolate dessert that I cannot remember the name. The pizza was absolutely fantastic. The pasta was fresh. We'd go back tomorrow if we didn't want to go to another part of CR.

Adult in New Jersey, then transplanted to Denver Colorado USA. This pizza is better than any pizza in Colorado and is Top 5 on my list of all time. Dave Portnoy would have a 9 Imo. The chicken marala was maravilloso. Great service and very friendly. They use coffee wood in a pizza oven.

I would return to La Fortuna to eat again in this restaurant. Mario, our server was incredible - we didn't just have dinner, we had a culinary experience! Pizza from a brick oven with coffee wood burning, the freshness of the ingredients in the homemade Ravioli, which imports Prosciutto from Italy, the wine cave... we cannot wait to visit this place again on our next trip!

Came here based on the reviews and it was undoubtedly not just the best pizza in La Fortuna but also some of the best I’ve ever had. Not just saying that for the sake of this review either, I did the build your own pizza and it came out perfect! Next time I am in La Fortuna I’ll be making a stop here again!
