Bidra med feedbackSeems like Fajitas is their specialty. I came all the way to live in Mexico and end up in a Mexican restaurant eating food that originated in Texas. Don 't get me wrong, I love fajitas and they have very good fajitas if you are wanting some. Here 's what I copied from Wikipedia. Fajita is a Tex-Mex, Texan-Mexican American or Tejano, diminutive term for little strips of meat cut from the beef skirt, the most common cut used to make fajitas.[3] The word fajita is not known to have appeared in print until 1971, according to the Oxford English Dictionary. (The word faja is Spanish for strip , or belt , from the Latin fascia, band [6] Although fajita originally referred to these strips of beef skirt, fajitas now are made with a variety of fillings, such as green/red/yellow peppers, onions, chilies, and jalapeño peppers.[7] PopularityEdit The first culinary evidence of the fajitas with the cut of meat, the cooking style (directly on a campfire or on a grill , and the Spanish nickname goes back as far as the 1930s in the ranch lands of South and West Texas.
A mixed bag here. Good frozen margs, and decent service. The fajitas mixta res y Cameron were excellent food quality, as were the enchiladas. However, this restaurant seems to cater to Canadians, so they have completely forgotten or avoided having real mexican flavor in their food. I would return in the non Canadian season and give it another try, but next time I will ask the staff to add some flavor to the excellent food quality and preparation.
Todo muy bien. Comida y servicios.
Excellent Fajitas, I don't know what they use for seasoning but it is fantastic. A single portion is enough for 2, and we are big eaters!
Always a go-to when we are in Bucerias. Only negative is they close during summer: but that expected especially when the tourist season slows down. We were fortunate to visit the second to last day they were open. My favourite is their Fajita Famar! Great food, drink and service!
