La Crosse Bierhaus

They would think it would not be hard to find in lacrosse bratwurst, but I had failed on several previous attempts. but this place was great. good mood, live music, good eating, wonderful beer.

Trivia at night with friends. the wife had a braid with sour wort and I had chicken strips with fries. fun time had and food/servers were excellent.

Excellent service, very helpful in explaining German beer eating was very good. the atmosphere was very german-esque with American ties in the sports bar world, but remained true for their roots in music and uniforms

Had the schnitzel which was good, the German potato salad was even better! Live polka from a very talented duo made the atmosphere more authentic.

This is my favorite hangout spot in La Crosse. The atmosphere is pretty cool. The bartenders and wait staff are incredible and friendly. The beer selection is good. You can get a big glass liter of beer. The food is good. I recommend the chicken schnitzel. I’m convinced The Bierhaus has the best fries in the coulee region. I have yet to have a soggy fry. And they’re perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper. I’d highly recommend going. It’s good for taking friends, a fun date night, or just to chill and have good beer and food. Also, they often have live polka which is always a win in my book.
