Bidra med feedbackMixed experience. two of the four appetizers were very nice, namely the tomato and the garnelensalat. the whip was completely mixed, as obviously not marinated enough. it was more a carpaccio with pieces of cocosnus and granat apple on the top. the gravur was also a...bit from a drop. for the net was the pad thai with a king prawn good, but definitiw not worth the 32€ price tag I found blackmailed. I had better price for half. the black was ok, but nothing too rave and price 30€ for a small piece and a bit ratatouille. only those desserts were really excellent. a total of one of these trendy places for île de re beautiful people or bobos, definitiw not worth the money : 270€ for 4 people, with wein up.
A very mixed lunch today at this establishment. Both starters good and the lamb my wife had very good. However, I had the noix De St. Jacques a favourite of mine. I should have sent it back my own fault not to but I didn't...want to spoil her meal too. It was overcooked to the point of being burnt. It gets very busy. You really need to telephone to book. We were told that they do not use the contact system on here or through there Facebook Messenger account. Probably a 3.5 rather than a 3.
Cycled past this place on a trip to Ile de Re and it looked nice and the lunch menu not overly expensive. Seated quickly and had a very pleasant meal. Starters of fresh Oysters were delicious and mains of scallops and cod were equally perfectly...cooked with their own delicious and distinct sauces. Washed down with a bottle of white wine. The staff were very nice and they spoke very good English if required.I would highly recommend a visit. Chef is Irish and worked in Gleneagles for a few years and his French wife, picking up on our accents, had him come out to say hello. He arrived with an amuse bouche and some friendly chat. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Saved this restaurant for our last evening. It was excellent. Beautifully-presented delicious food. Good selection of wine to accompany seafood. We didn’t have a starter, but received a complimentary amuse-bouche. Great service. Not cheap, but everyone deserves a treat on holiday.
Very good restaurant in the heart of the duck, the fish is excellent, including for children. The plates were refined. I found the addition slightly salty but I absolutely don't regret. To do it again.
