Bidra med feedbackSorriest excuse for $13 mac and cheese I have ever seen. Literally half a cup of elbow macaroni, a bit of cheese, and 4 floppy pickle slices. Disgusting and overpriced. Never again.
Didn't have a full experience here, but I tried the slider trio and it was alright. I figured it would come with coleslaw and sauce but it was all very deconstructed and a little dry.
I got burnt ends. I couldn't even chew the meat , it was like leather. I wish I checked the reviews before I spent 25$ on something that i end up throwing away?
We came to the windmill to check out a different restaurant that apparently is no longer in business. After wandering throughout the different options, we chose barbecue, because.. who doesn't love barbeque? The food hall itself is noisy with kids running all around, I would compare this to a mall food court, if you could purchase alcohol at the mall. There was plenty of open seating, and different options for all types of food cravings.Ordering was easy, only 1 person in line in front of us. I ordered a Brisket burger and burnt ends (because if burnt ends are on the menu, I'm all in). My wife went with the slider trio and upgraded to brisket sliders for an extra $1 each, she also got a sweet potato. It took longer than expected for our food to be ready, around 25 minutes before our pager started to vibrate and I went to grab our order.(When you pay for the meal, you include tip, I tipped 20% however after having to get my own order, bus my own trays and get my own utensils and napkins, I feel that is a bit high)The Trio came out incorrectly as they did not give the brisket and instead served a chicken slider, they did correct this. The brisket burger was, not what I expected which was a burger, with brisket on top, it was a burger made out of brisket cooked well done. This is on me as I did not ask. This was not any better than any fast-food burger you can get. Burnt ends which are always my favorite, not so much here. They were not meat candy like I expect, but more like lumps of coal you might get in your stocking if you were bad at Christmas. All kidding aside, they were not tender whatsoever and could not even be saved by bbq sauce...The Sweet Potato was a glop of butter, brown sugar mess.My experience was one in which I can't say I would go back.
If you like bland boring food, this is the place! Was not happy with what I ordered...but I was super hungry and Didn't want to waste the money I spent.
