Bidra med feedbackToo tired to get out in the city we tried this restaurant, inside our hotel. The dinner was perfect, even though we had to stay inside as it was too hot outside. Good fish and salads.
We ate at this restaurant on the first night of a two night business visit. The first thing to say is that the service is very professional, the food was OK, sadly my veal wasn’t quite as good as I had expected it to be....Good menu selection.
A very good classy meal but a bit expensive for what it was.Presentation was excellent, staff were professional but sometimes a bit too absent for a 4 stars. Fresh ingredients and they had gluten free bread freshly baked on demand.
We booked our first visit to the restaurant of this hotel for Sunday lunch. We had heard good reports and were looking forward to trying out the 32 euro set menu. After a drink at the bar, excellent cocktails by the way, we were escorted...to our table. The restaurant is vast and looks out on to the terrace and nearby pool which must be delightful in the summer. The service is excellent and friendly, even if the head waiter looked as if he was gunning for somebody in his team... There is a good choice of dishes in each course and the winelist is also plentiful. However, that is where the story takes a negative turn. The appetiser of Thai style marinated raw tuna was tasteless and unappealing to look at. On closer look I could determine that the slices of tuna had just been arranged on the plate and sprinkled with a sauce that, apart from having the colour of soy sauce, did nothing for the tastebuds to confirm the promised savours of Thai cuisine. The venison casserole, this time described as being cooked in spices from Madagascar, was again disappointing. Where were the spices? There was plenty of meat but only half was edible, the rest scrawny and nervy. My partner had fish which was fresh but the dish as a whole was nothing to write home about. He followed this with a cheese course (airline portions displayed on a plate with some salad) while I took dessert which saved the day. Congratulations to the pastry chef for a delicious apple bavarois. Nevertheless, I don't think I can return and just take dessert...
We were staying at the hotel and had lunch at the restaurant on the patio. It was a nice big space and near the pool. The service was quite professional. The salad I had was with shrimp and scallops. The salad was fresh, the seafod...was perfectly cooked and very fresh. Would definitely reocmmend!
