Bidra med feedbackFelt like we were in the middle of nowhere as we stopped off for lunch on the way to visit a customer The place was fairly large inside with a combination of a cafe, restaurant and hotel The menu looked amazing....if you were eating meat Unfortunately for me, I’d chosen the month of July to not eat meat Once it was explained, we settled on me having a basic pepper salad Well that’s what I thought....what came out was an amazing dish of mixed Veg on a bed of gorgeously roasted peppers They did add tuna to it, which was ok, as I was going more pescatarian than vegetarian The dishes that the other guys had looked good nonetheless and all were left content
We were driving down from Madrid to Granada when my wife and niece insisted on getting something to eat. I exited at La Carolina and found Orellana Perdiz sitting on the east frontage road. the building was non descript, but they did have covered parking inside, the restaurant itself was quite nice. we arrived around 2 PM and were the only diners for about 20 minutes, then the place filled up with locals!!! what a nice find. there was one server for the entire room but he kept up very well, he was also friendly and efficient. Very good food, linen tablecloths, good service considering how busy it got. Veal filetes were excellent as was the Jamon Iberico and everything else we tried salads are huge and quite artistic! This restaurant is now on my list for future trips, and we all enjoyed the break from the drive.
No he probado un solomillo a la brasa mas rico ni un pate de perdiz mas exquisito, eso sumado a la amabilidad del personal lo hace mas que recomendable
