La Tour du Loup - La Bastide-de-Sérou

I really can't share the previous opinions about this restaurant. we stayed on our trip through franchise at this roadside place and were absolutely enthusiastic about the food and liked the place in general. they usually prepare traditional French dishes from fresh local products. we saw that the ducks arrive with a small pickup truck from a farm just a few km away. the owner chef makes all kinds of pastes from him himself and we absolutely delighted the magret de canard filled with home made foie gras. a beautiful steak, the fishpaté, the homemade boudin noir, the grandma style homemade, as well as the beside dishes and crispy salads, everything we lubricated was prepared with dedication and without unnecessary chi. the service was cordial and welcomed all in all friendly, to the people who know what they do and love to do it. I also recommend the hotel with its recently renovated rooms, all equipped with taste and new beds with very good mattresses. definitely worth a stop when they go through the ariège!

A gorgeous steak, the fish paté, the homemade boudin noir, the grandma-style homemade deserts, as well as the side dishes and crispy salades, everything we tasted was prepared with dedication and without any unnecessary "chi-chi". The service was cordial and welcoming - all in all friendly, down-to-earth people who know what they are doing and love to do it. I also recommend the hotel with it's recently renovated rooms, all furnished with taste and new beds with very good matresses. Definitely worth a stop if you are passing through the Ariège!
