We had a lovely meal at Kikyo Sushi we arrived late for our booking because of torrential rain, but were welcomed and had a great time. The food was explained to us, we ordered from the set lunches along with some extra dishes. The clientele seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. The sushi was delicious and the prices very reasonable. We hope to return when we come back to Kyoto.
Great for large groups and great for people who may not be fluent in Japanese. The son (I believe his name was Mitsuru) spoke English very well and helped me understand how to use the phrase 'tondemonai ' とんでもない Also this place is straight delicious oishii 美味しい
The best Sushi ever!!! A great night was had in this small family run Sushi restaurant, all made to order in front of you. Will always remember this Kyoto experience x
