Gomacro - Kyoto

Located near Nijo Castle. They have deserts and vegan food. The vegetable plate cost 1500yen and white curry set cost 1000yen. The vege in the vegetable plate are all cold dishes. Food is ok. The cafe has a relax ambience.

One way to live in Japan, and not leave with scurvy is to eat at this great cafe. They love sesame and vegetables, there is a note on the menu that the cafe does not use animal products or refined sugar in their meals. Staff are lovely had a street view which most cafes can’t boast.

Small menu but the white curry and rice was very tasty. Without a drink and dessert it came to 1000 yen

Whole menu was vegan. The vegetable platter was about 12 different seasonal delicacies, each unique across a spectrum of flavours and textures, and all of them spectacular. The sesame parfait for dessert was stellar.

Great Vegan restaurant, they use sesame in allt of their food, so if you like/ love sesame this is the place! The cold noodles was great, staff were lovely.
