We went in and ordered subs yesterday. The young gentleman who was working behind the counter was very personable and engaging. A real pleasure to deal with! It made the experience great! Good food, too!
I'm Jewish and requested that the man change his gloves after he handled a type of meat that I cannot eat. He was incredibly considerate and even offered me a different roll of bread since he had touched the previous one with his gloves. He was the kindest person, and I'm truly grateful for his understanding and kindness! I appreciate you—thank you! I will definitely be coming back more often.
While I have no issues with sandwiches, I was not pleased with the way the cashier took a tip for themselves. I intended to leave a tip, but when I was processed at the register, I noticed that nearly a $7 tip had already been added to the receipt without my consent. Usually, there’s an option at the bottom to add a tip, or it can be done on the keypad. Since I had already been charged and was with my two hungry kids, I didn’t want to raise the issue at the time. I might be overreacting, but this experience has made me reconsider returning to this location. I think I’ll look for another Subway in the future.
The young woman who prepared my sandwich today was incredibly warm and friendly. She crafted a delicious sandwich and genuinely took the time to make it nicely and with care. It tasted fantastic, and the level of customer service was surprisingly excellent for a chain store. I will definitely return to this location!
