Basin Street Pub - KUTZTOWN

The soup was really terrible. How do you mess up chicken rice soup? Was it too much lemon or salt? I Couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. And it was skimpy, barely any vegetables, and rice must have been sitting in it a week. The rice was skimpy too. The fried fish special was frozen, fries are frozen, nothing tasted freshly made. The bang bang shrimp were not bad but not spicy. The vegetarian sandwich was flavorless according to my daughter. We were really disappointed.

The food is good. It's more the service that's the problem. No one's at the door to sit down. I went in and was lost right away. I don't know if you should sit or wait to sit. I don't know yet, and I was there three times. It's okay, I'd eat there again, but it's certainly not a first choice. Appetizers are pretty good.

Best bar in town! If you ever watched the show ?Cheers? that is Basin Street! Basin street has the best wings and the beer is always cold! One of the many reasons I keep coming back. The service is top tier and they do great work for the community!

We were visiting Kutztown University for our daughter and came for drinks to remember how my husband is an alumni and remembered coming back to the day he was a student. Great looking pub with fabulous cocktails and super friendly service. Was happy to see vegetarian elements on the menu, but would recommend offering vegan options as well as the onion rings are fantastic, really nice thick cut onions not the stingy you often get elsewhere.

The Beckenstraße hotel has a fabulous staff and good food. The wings they make there are absolutely bonkers. A wonderful experience every time I go.
