Bidra med feedbackThis little place is a hidden secret (but not for long). Great food and wine. A Chianti classico is a must. Pasta and risotto dishes are very authentic and the tiramisu is to die for. I think I have found Tuscany in Hawthorn. Service was great and the Italian waiter (I suspect maybe owner also) has a great sense of humour.
Saw so many great reviews about this place, decided to give it a go, and wow the reviews are right. This place is a gem, and everyone should know about this place. Easily one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Food was impeccable, the homely feel and ambience, as well as friendly service. Would definitely come back here.
Decor is average and service is spotty—though Giacomo is very engaging—but the reason you come here is to enjoy sublime Tuscan food. Absolutely superb! The white truffle mushroom dish was really to die for. I will be back...
A genuinely authentic family Tuscan cafe. So much effort has gone into this place from the family artwork on the walls, the wooden panelling to even the basin in the bathroom. But most importantly there is the great food and coffee served by super friendly staff. So glad we have this place just around the corner but would travel across the city to come here.
Just had lunch at this place and it was amazing. The risotto was cooked perfectly and from scratch. My husband’s pasta was perfect. I’m Italian so I seldom eat Italian at restaurants but this place is fantastic. Incredible hosts to top it off. We’re coming back again soon with friends. Bellissimo
