Payom Thai - Kurunjang

We picked up Thai takeaway for Father’s Day tonight and it was some of the yummiest I’ve tried. Despite one family member arriving near 9pm and us eating it lukewarm it was still utterly delicious. Pad Thai, massamum, cashew nut and pad see ew accompanied by coconut rice and spring rolls all really flavoursome and super tasty. I think I’ve found my new local

I had happy memories of going here a few years ago and was not disappointed coming back with some friends! The menu is extensive and the dishes are great. I had the seafood Tom yum soup to start a good amount of chilli!! We shared a red duck curry (my favourite and I wasn’t disappointed), bbq charcoal chicken (highly recommended), massman beef curry and pad Thai which tricked us coming served in a light egg omlette skin! With steamed rice the four of us didn’t finish it and couldn’t fit dessert.The service was friendly and unobtrusive, they were patient when we sat and sat and didn’t make us feel pressured to leave. At $35 a head (couple of glasses of wine) it was tasty and I’d be back!!!!

This is one of my favourite place. I have try almost all the dishes from Payom Thai. All dishes that I tried tasted amazing and they presentational looks amazing. The staff are very friendly and help me to select the best dishes, thank you all. I definitely will see you guys again once a week to try new food and your new special. They offer 5% off for cash as well

Never knew about this place, if Groupon has no special on them..(show how I budget with a family of 4). A little surprise in this little town. I must say everything tasted good. There were lots of people on the night we were there, but the quality of the food is still good. The waitresses are really helpful and when the food are served, we are not disappointed. My son loved their well seasoned prawn salad entree. The pork minced salad has a good balance of sweet, savoury and sour. Nothing special on the satay, the sauce however is nice and nutty. Next is the Thai Green Curry and the Fried Rocklings. Both dishes are really tasty with the rice. The ice cream is alright, nothing special, if they add some toasted almonds flakes, mango slices or coconut shredded, maybe it will give a much tropical taste. To tell you how good it is...we bought another voucher the next day..will definately return within 3 months.
