Bidra med feedbackFantastic feed with a range of different meat dishes. Don't underestimate the vegetable dishes or the service. It made for a great night out.
AMAZING food, the sweet and sour cauliflower was the stuff of dreams!
Had one of the best birthday dinners Ive ever had, thanks for making my 30th dinner a very memorable one!
Cheek is the sister restaurant of Dexter, one of the best restaurants in Melbourne, in my opinion. It is fair to say, I had high hopes. Located smack bang in the CBD on Swanston Street, an unassuming set of stairs leads you to the restaurant which can be accessed via a sliding door on the left. Our group of 6 ordered plenty of small plates, large meatier portions and sides to share. Overall, I had an enjoyable meal at Cheek. Some dishes were better than others. You definitely cannot go wrong with their bone marrow mash which was an absolute delight to eat. I also highly recommend ordering the Smoked Short Rib which was one of the pricier mains but definitely worth the money. I was told by the waitress that Cheek was a more refined version of Dexter but I couldn't justify the cost for its prime CBD location. It was quite pricey as the sides come separately. Service was fine but I just would have preferred that the dishes all came out together rather than one at a time. It was literally one in one out.
Cute spot! Never even noticed it before! pretty good food and there is roof too bar there as well to go after food
