Then I walked it off on the trails around the point. Perfect! Just remember there is no cover, so don't bother visiting here if it's cold or rainy! Otherwise, enjoy this little gem!
After reading about Cook at Kurnell in our local paper my sons, dog and I visited on a sunny day in the school holidays. We ordered a milkshake, smoothie, calamari and arancini. The food was pretty good but the arancinis were so large that the filling inside was cold. The article in the paper said that dogs could get puppycinos but they were not available. There was a jar of dog treats on the counter though
A great open air American retro-trailer diner just across from the beach, with views across Botany Bay to the skyline of Sydney. We went there for an unplanned lunch, after taking the dog for an unleashed walk along the beach, on a picture perfect sunny Sunday.A good menu, with a large selection of drinks & food to suit the whole family. Drinks came very quickly, though it was a 30 minute wait for the food - it was reasonably busy, but we thought this was a tad too long a wait - which was a pity because when the food did arrive it was lovely & tasty. It also meant we we listening to one of the staff yelling out food & drink order numbers every couple of minutes.Tip for improvement - just a small thing - while it works out well to go up to the counter to order the food, why doesn't the guy yelling the orders out from the counter, instead actually take the food & drinks to the tables? It's a good opportunity to also connect with the customers, clear tables & up sell an extra coffee etc :)We'd definitely go back again - all up the setting, quality & variety of menu hit the mark - despite the 'yelling-out-of-orders-ready-guy'!
Recommended by a local we enjoyed the drive out to Kurnell , great little relaxed set up in the sun , enjoyed by families couples and dogs opposite the lead free beach . Enjoyed the cheese burger which is American style with a decent size waghu beef pattie and hubby loved the crispy fish sandwich - it sure was crispy ! We enjoyed a nice strong coffee but they also have alcohol
Nearly on the beach with city views across Botony Bay this café is a great place to chill out. All outdoor seating in a beach side theme, perfect for breakfast or the afternoon. Food was pretty good, coffee was ok.
