It’s a busy place , quite a lot of options available, service is very fast. Got a veg biriyani which was more like a palav, but they had put chunks of bread in it, which absorbs the flavor from all the spices and tastes good. Got a curd vada which was good too, then got badam halwa. Pricing is very economical!!! P.S: went here again for dinner, ate mini Ghee idly and rava onion masala dosa, the dosa was amazing with accompaniments of ginger/coconut/onion chutney and sambar!

One of the classical restaurant of Kumbakonam still maintaining its eternity. Healthy and tasty south Indian food with reasonable price. During lunch time also they serve tiffin items like dosa. Mini meals with chappathi served during lunch. (No meals only mini meals). It's a narrow busy street so don't expect parking facilities.

Very good taste. Thought we all know that kumbakonam is good place for foodie, many new hotels with poor quality and taste is grown up all over the place. Please don't go by seeing big banners and coloured lights. All will disappoint you. Only handful of restaurant is left out with traditional taste. This is one among them. Murari sweets in the same locality will add more sweetness to your travel.
