Bidra med feedbackThe food was good. Portions are definitely BIG so you pay the price you pay. Lucky that the char koay teow came with cockles and big prawns. Yummmss! Interestingly, it came with crackers. I had never served crackers with my noodles, but no complaints. Pizza was a little gland and hard. Came with empty stomach. Left with very full stomach. The tables were sticky. I guess it was due to the lacquered cover layer of the surface.
We had our buffet dinner tonight. Just an average culinary experience. At the beginning, the shells were beautiful, later at the night when they refill the shells, it tastes like it was just thawing. At least the local favorites like Satay w Table setting is like in a canteen and not a 5-star hotel, I guess we are still in the C-19-pendamic. If this is so, they do not offer handsanitisers anywhere after we touch the usual utensils.
An ordinary hotel restaurant but I would recommend the teatime here as they serve more savoury to cater Malaysian palate. Unlike those expensive premium high-tea serving so much of desserts. The restaurant is near to the lobby enabling photo-taking and a walk to Pavilion just across the street.
For lunch we initially tried the beef rendang and spaghetti but the rendang was sour and not tasty with the miserable portion at a cost of rm40.Such a disappointment. So I ordered the fried kway teow which was fortunately delicious but the prawns were not fresh My wife ordered the seafood spaghetti and it was ok but slightly salty. They took such a long time to send us the orders. But the staffs were very polite and attentive
They serve one of the best vadai in the hotel buffet. Taste is authentic and the coconut chutney is tasty.
