Food and service were bad, overpriced for taste and treatment.
Very tasty food and service was prompt. We reserved a table after reading much on Google about Li Yen and managed to get a table on Friday. Upon arriving, service was very prompt and we were seated at a nice table with bench-like seat which definitely something I enjoyed very much. Food quality, taste and presentation is definitely 5/5 and we hope to be back again in our next visit.
We ordered seafood porridge and when it was served the waitress said it was seafood porridge , but was served seafood soup ,after a while we explained to the waitress that they sent the wrong order, they acknowledged and admitted their mistake yet told us they would still have to charge us for the seafood soup since we have already consumed it as they said if they were to send it back to the kitchen their ' sifu ' would enquire and they would get in trouble. I think it is standard F&B practice to void the wrong order especially since it is your mistake, things like this goes without saying, wife and i were honestly quite speechless that this happened, especially at a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. I really do hope the manager sees to it
