Bidra med feedbackThe best and one of the oldest Georgian restaurants in the city. when I went there 27 years ago. eating is delicious and house wine is good.
Great service, very good food, excellent samples of Georgian cuisine adaptations in St.Petersburg. Sazivi cold chicken in walnut sauce) Harcho lamb soup with root vegetables, walnuts, and rice) Khachapuri cheese filled flatbread) and of course, Chebureki meat or cheese filled deep fried dumplings). Also georgian soda which is italian style fruit syrup in mineral water. All was very good, also good coffee, wines, desserts.
WOW! Back to the USSR time machine... Same beautiful interior, menu changed a little, but the classics are still there. My favourite is Chebureki a la Leningrad and Chicken Tabaka. Wine list is good and Georgian beer as well. Prices aren’t as low as during Soviet time, but still are very attractive and reasonable.
Amazing place and ambiance. We went Thursday night and had live music until 9pm. Very lovely. Prices are good and the food is enjoyable. Service was very slow for American standards. The waitress outright ignored us for the first 30 minutes. She also did not speak English so we had to point at the menu for what we wanted. (The menu comes with English subtitles). Food was good and filling. More like comfort food then fine dining. Be aware, the kitchen closes at 10pm even though the restaurant is open til 11pm, so make sure to order desert with your main otherwise you might not get a chance.
Good food and nice staff. very warm place, highly recommended
