Fantastic fresh traditional Cretan fare. Best rabbit stew, salad, vine leaves, zucchini and tzatziki, roast bean, and roast potatoes fresh out the ground. So friendly. Great view across mountains. A must when in the area of Acoumia.

We had dinner at this lovely small restaurant. All the food was very delicious and mad with love! Also Dimitrera was very friendly and made us feel welcome! Special tip is the sweet orange at the end! ️

Amazing food, amazing home made liquor and amazing family!

Eating here is when I fell in love with Crete. We’d driven the tiny streets from the next village up, and stopped in the afternoon for lunch. The waiter recommended the remaining few pieces of souvlaki, and my father ordered the lamb, for which he was hungry that day. It was the best meal of our trip. The souvlaki was made by the waiter’s own mother (who also owns the restaurant), and the lamb was raised by his father, a shepherd.
