It 's not the first time we have been here and it 's always excellent. You don 't expect this quality here in town so we travel some kilometers for. The know fish, they like it and you feel it. Making a reservation isrecoomended

You wouldn't expect such an exceptional restaurant in Solingen but Schaelte's is always worth a visit. The menue is based on availability of seafood in excellent quality, lovingly prepared and served with a smile.

Monthly changing menu, fish and seafood typically with a slightly unexpected touch. Always very fresh from their own next door seefood shop. Wines served by the glas and mini deserts allow for full indulgence without full calories. Unassuming, contemporary tasteful dining room with competent and extremely charming service.

We come to schälte's to taste fish and seafood, from Brittany, I can assure you that the products are of excellent quality and first freshness; We were never disappointed at the 5 dinners we took in this restaurant. The choice (at slate and/or à la carte) varies according to arrivals, of course, but the dishes are always very well prepared and well served. cooking is particularly well done, especially for lobster, preserving the taste of the products. The main attraction of this restaurant is the variety of products offered (although superior to most restaurants in the region) and the excellent value for money (ex: 35 € per person for a meal including 6 oysters of bretagne, a fish dish and a dessert, aperitif and glass of wine included). Other important elements: desserts are not left to account and the wine menu, although not very long, offers a very interesting choice. The service is efficient, fast, and attentive, without pressure. However, expect an end of meal around 22:00, as usual in this part of Germany...For who enjoys fish and seafood with an unbeatable value for money, schälte's is a must in the region!

Have visited Schälte after a long time. Nice evening, very good food, brilliant mini desert. It was just what the doctor ordered. We will definitely come back! Down to earth Resto with style.
