This place is amazing!!!!! Loved every bite...we we will be back for sure. The quality of the food is of the hook, service is great and the ambiance is super charming. We were sitting inside but they have a patio right on the water so if it's not too cold and u get a table go for that. I I litarally fell in love with this restaurant. Another thing is that 90% of guests are locals.....so you know it's really good when your own people frequent this place...! Much love to detail too...thanks for the experience, you guys been recommended by me already tons of times....!

I love this local village pub (kroeg) for beers after work or dinner. It has large selection of beers and tasty dishes. Not only good quality food but also quite large portions and ok prices. Even though the tourist attraction Zaanse schaans (windmills) is nearby, this place has not been discovered by tourists and the Toog guests are locals and few expats working around (like me). In summer go to the terrace in the back, very very beautiful place on the water.
