Weinhandlung Franz Fritz - Konstanz

Every time we visit Constance, we store on the wines they sell. Red, Rose, White, they are all great wines that we can then enjoy at home.

We found this travel advisor on the side streets of the old district of Konstanz, although our German is limited, we were very welcome and had explained the wine list to us. Great value for money and excellent wine a hidden gem

Disclaimer: I think Konstanz is my second home and knows the owner of this house well. Andreas Fritz's family had this business in this place since Columbus discovered America. It is small, intimate and not for those who expect an English greeting when entering. But if you have a crushed German and want to be part of a unique experience, don't miss this place. Andreas is known about all kinds of wine, but above all from Germany and Italy. Some of my favorite memories are to be in this intimate space and listen to the locals, sing and talk.

Contempt: there is in the house fritz the wine cellar of andreas fritz and the weinstube in the 1.OG of jürgen franz. the weinstube in the upper floor of the house to mugge is my favorite wine room. just try it yourself!

In the oldest quarter of constanz, where the gasses in the Niederburg are narrow and angled and one of the middle-aged houses over the shoulders, you will find a little hidden in this small or the "fritz ". The staircase goes down in the historical vault to the wine and wine tasting. the steep staircase high in the 1st floor they are like in the living room, in a rustic wine room. the tables, the talks fly back and forth - and if they want they are there - rather loud it is, because full is the " fritz " all. the guests are more older, life-frohes semester - usually real constanzer. the wine is gifted - and to eat it also gets something.i
