Bidra med feedbackSmall secret tip if you want to eat breakfast in comfort in a quiet and cozy delicious. affordable prices as well as delicious (and hot) caffe included! we'll be back there!
We were in school for a short coffee break. the service was very slow and the coffee was only lukewarm and it smelled bad in the dining room. when it came to a small misfortune, did the service power/holder react? very unfriendly and unprofessional. gas industry is different! I cannot recommend this cafe definitiw.
We were there for coffee drink. because it stank in caffe, we sat down on it. after a long waiting period came the coffee u the cupcakes. the two tables outside are terribly shaky. so a coffee fell in order to split the cupcake with the fork during the attempt to retort the glass, unfortunately also the second coffee. a glass fell to floor and split into 1000 parts. a giant pork at the floor that we had to wipe ourselves. then we got two new coffees. we had to pay four coffees! with the hint of this thing should not happen in three years yet!!!The soy latte by the way has not tasted because they do not use good soy milk, it tastes pappy. the two coffees were only lukewarm. next time we go back to the vogelhaus, because you know that it tastes delicious and that you have a friendly service.
Schuler’s is a nice café located next to the parking lot of the St. Stephanskirche. They have a few sidewalk tables and inside the mostly white interior design has small tables and bench seating. The large oval shaped windows allow lots of natural lighting inside the business. The young lady working the counter was very nice. I ordered a soy milk hot chocolate (3.40CHF) which was very good. They also have a variety of hot/cold beverages, cupcakes, cakes, pastries, bagel sandwiches, healthy breakfast options and more. There are newspapers, magazines, retail items, accessories, clean restrooms and NO Wi-Fi is offered.
Germany does a lot of things well.....beer, sausages, cars for example.... But not coffee ;-)I am always on the search for decent coffee and whilst it may be possible to find a few good places in Berlin or Munich it is much harder in the smaller cities. Here in Konstanz I have found two good options, one of which is Schulers. They offer delicious bagels and although I have not tried the cakes, they also look very good. Nice cosy place with friendly service.
