Bidra med feedbackGreat service, super central location, very good food and great hospitality. This hotel is distinguished. Very recommended.
We were often there for dinner, no matter what, it was always great. The service is always top
There are two vegetarian menus: Spätzle with cheese and fry onions and a vegetable dish with rice. Both were excellently prepared and beautifully dressed. (We had to wait a long time, especially for Dessert.
Food is excellent every time and Maria is a true pearl! Very recommended.
After the midnight fright of the emergency station Stroke Unit, which was only temporarily mitigated by the visit of the Klinikcafés Krachenfels, I feel like a healthy and mischievous kitchen. The nerves are clear. Although the last visit to the Golden Star is good 20 years ago, my last visit to Konstanz is regular. But what does that mean? Schankrecht was awarded to the traditional restaurant at Bodanplatz in 1889. A bit of the old pink house with the Geranienkästen on the window sauces and the plough ambience still sprays the charm of the past. Almost you feel moved into the last or even penultimate century. The restaurant on the first floor is accessible via a curved staircase with soft carpet. But before that you should study the numerous thank you letters and maps in the lower foyer, which will be exhibited in Glasvitrinen. The upper rooms have the grace of an old French restaurant: lower ceilings and dark wooden columns, glittering white tablecloths and reinforced fabric napkins, heavy red overhangs on brass rods and polished shops, barely polished table silver and well maintained florales (real and in plastic). In the service, two obsolete, slightly chewing dams are seen with Dutt and orthopedic shoes, which change mainly in handling submissive service and certain appearance. The clocks cross something else here and the rhythm is easy to behave. Very relaxing! The menu includes fish dishes (e.g. Eglifilet and Zander, about 25 Euro) as well as natural (board, Cordon Bleu, Rumpsteak) as well as regional (Gaisburger Marsch or Kässpätzle for about 15 Euro each). A small offer of hot and cold appetizers and soups. A fine wine offering, mainly from the area. Especially bizarre: A long-drawn, superbly equipped spirit hall works as a room divider. From ancient French armagnac to modern creations of the Salemer Distillerie Senft you will find all kinds of delicacies. My ordered beetles are hand-cut and butter soft, the used emmentaler was refined with lots of cream and the crispy roasted onion gives a wonderful topping. The nearby Reichenau “Gemüseinsel” is literally touched by the additional salad: delicate leaf salad, aromatic tomatoes, crispy carrots. This salad is freshly prepared and does not swell for hours (as is often the case in some other places). In the Golden Star, the foods are kept warm under a metal bell, crowned on a small bird and, if necessary, arranged on an ordering table. Everything a little old-fashioned, but very well maintained. Remember “Dinner for one”. By the way, the other guests of the restaurant are mainly Swiss – and this can be interpreted as a quality criterion. Certain wishes are received and executed very accurately, and the guest is in the center of attention. Perhaps the preparation and waiting times are somewhat longer than elsewhere, but that is definitely worth it. The Golden Star can be reached in a few minutes from the train station; a bus stop is located near the front door. The pedestrian zone and the Lago shopping centre are nearby. In the cultivated hotel (opened in the upper floors) you can of course stay well maintained (the exhibited thank you correspondence is at least full of praise). The areas of the house I have seen were dulled, all clean and very noble. At the next visit I will definitely try one of the fish dishes. And not only visually pour the treasures of the ghost's ritual.
