Eiscafe Nicoletti Aniello - Konstanz

I went here on a beautiful Monday afternoon. There was no line so I walked right up to the window and was face to face with the human version of Yosemite Sam. The man act as though he was in a hurry and I was somehow bothering him (even though I was the only one in front of him and there was no one eating inside). I ordered the a scoop of apricot on a cone. He brought me a scoop of strawberry. I went to the inside case where the apricot was and pointed to it and he just kept shove the strawberry cone at me. I gave him a euro, promptly took his crapy strawberry cone outside and tossed it in the trash. I will never give this place another cent of my money. If I order Apricot, I want apricot, NOT strawberry. I don't know why this man thought he could just give me any flavor he wished. If the old man with the Yosemite Sam mustache is working steer clear, he is a real jerk!

Eiscafe Nicoletti is definitely the best gelateria not only in Konstanz but in the whole Lake Constance region. Gelato is natural, light and freshly made every day (no artificial colorants or aromas here! . The place is owned by a sympathetic Italian family and on a busy day one can observe all family members bustling around serving gelato, brewing coffee or serving customers. I can definitely recommend Malaga, Tiramisu and Yogurt Nature flavours, but others are delicious as well. Price-quality relation is not bad 80 cents pro Kugel (the Kugel is of average size, but the gelato quality is outstanding . The only other eiscafe in Konstanz that stands comparison with Nicoletti is Dolomiti (in 30 meters across the square . In my opinion, Nicoletti is definitely number one, but one should try gelato in both places to form own opinion. Unfortunately Nicoletti is only open during the warm season, meaning from end of April and until some time in October. Absolute must when in Konstanz!
